The Langley Wildthings are a Northern Virginia Swim League (NVSL) summer swim team affiliated with the Langley Swim and Tennis Club. We offer a fun team-oriented experience for kids ranging from ages 5 to 18. The goal of our team is to provide every child an opportunity to improve their swimming skills, achieve their goals and have fun while doing it.

For 2026, we will be competing in Division 2 again. Our summer swim is challenging and competitive but most of all, IT’S FUN! There is nothing like cheering on your friends and neighbors as they compete in the pool on a sunny Saturday morning or on a fun-filled Monday night. 

We also offer a Mini Wildthings program. This is for aspiring little Wildthings, generally ages 5-8 (although there are no age restrictions). This is a great way to see if your child is interested in joining the swim team, and has a shorter season than the regular swim team. Your child just needs to be comfortable in the water and be able to swim approximately 10 meters without stopping and without assistance.
