Swim Lessons

Private swim lessons are offered by our swim coaches to our members and Summer Rentals during the summer season.  Swim lessons are not open to the general public.

Private Swim Lessons
The Langley Swim Team coaches are offering private swim lessons for those who already have a base understanding of the sport.  Each private lesson will be 30 or 40 minutes long.  The beginner lessons are for those who are new to swimming or who are still learning the basic strokes. Although the Coaches are unable to be in the water with beginner swimmers at this time, we can still offer beginner lessons with the swimmer’s parents or guardians in the water with them. Intermediate and  Advanced lessons are for swimmers who are working towards mastery or have mastered the fundamentals of the four basic strokes and are looking to improve their technique.  The advanced lessons are ideally suited for swimmers who are competing in A meets or demonstrate a strong performance in B meets and are looking to move up to the next level.

How Do I Sign Up?
Click on the Coach’s name and you will be connected via email. Reach out to the coach and work out a time that is agreeable to both parties. Then, reserve your lane on the Pool’s Sign Up Genius and specify that the Coach will be on deck at that time.

If you need to cancel or change the time of your lesson, you can do so on the Sign Up Genius page with at least 24-hour notice.  The Sign Up page will not accept changes outside this window.   If you need to cancel a lesson with less than 24-hour notice, you must contact the coach directly, and lesson fees will apply.

Fees and Payment
Lesson fees range from $20 to $50 based on each coach’s experience level and credentials. Lessons must be paid in full prior to the start of the lesson.  If you need to cancel with less than 24-hour notice, we will charge the full cost of the lesson.   While payment by cash and check is accepted, we encourage the use of electronic payment through either Venmo or Zelle for lessons with Head and Assistant Coaches.  It is free to sign up for either service.  You can click on the links below for more information on registering with Zelle and Venmo.  Payment to Junior Coaches may be in cash or any other form agreed up by the junior coaches in advance.
