Langley Club Members Current and Future –  

We have exciting updates from the Board as we set our sights on enhancing your experience for the 2026 season and beyond.  

As we gear up for the upcoming season, we are planning two near-term projects that will elevate your enjoyment at the Langley Club this summer: 

• Expand our lawn: We plan to relocate the north-side fence (think diving board side of the pool from shed over towards the parking lot) to open up space beyond the tree line and clear the underbrush, allowing us to enjoy additional grass area by leveraging more of our land. This will provide serene space to relax or play under a natural shaded canopy.
• Resurface tennis courts and adding pickleball capability: We’re refreshing our tennis courts to accommodate both tennis and pickleball, featuring new lines and nets. All four court surfaces will be refinished, while courts 1 and 2 will provide dual-functionality tennis/pickle by getting lined for pickleball in addition to the existing tennis lines, allowing for four pickle courts with roll out nets.  

Big Picture Renovation Plans beyond 2026 
The Board has been working towards updates that will redefine our facilities and set us up for decades to come. Plans include:

• A 25-meter, 8-lane heated lap pool, designed for year-round use with an enclosure option. A dive well may be connected or separate.
• A new baby pool or splash pad with zero entry and up to modern standards.
• State-of-the-art pool filtration to replace our aging systems and new pool decking with the intent to preserve the green space we all enjoy.
• An ADA-compliant clubhouse of approximately 3,000-4,000 SF, complete with upgraded restrooms, showers, and additional amenities to enhance the member experience.
• Expanded parking to accommodate additional vehicles.  

Why This Matters:
While we cherish our 69-year legacy, it’s time to breathe new life into our beloved club. Our facilities have served us well, but we must adapt to meet new standards. This renovation is more than just a project; it’s a strategic investment in the Langley Club’s future. We are committed to not only maintaining our cherished traditions but also embracing evolution for a brighter future.
